Dr. Jacob Jamesraj, MS.,MCh – Approach to a Heart” – October 18, 2022

Dr. Jacob Jamesraj, renowned Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, the Madras Medical Mission Hospital, Chennai was at Christwood to enlighten the students of grades 8, 10 & 11 on the working of the human heart. He kindled immense interest and curiosity in the young learners with a specimen of the human heart and lungs, simulations and videos of heart surgeries. Children got to see the inside of a heart, the soft muscular organ and were amazed at the complexity of it. The lecture Demo captivated their minds to the wonders of medicine and Cardiac surgery inspiring them to put their heart and mind into exploring their interest further on ‘Heart-the Engine of Life’
