Visit to the American Centre – November 4, 2022
Christwood organised a visit to the American Centre at the US Consulate for the 9,10 and 11th Graders on Friday 4th November. Ms. Jennifer Bullock , the Consul for Public Diplomacy welcomed the students and interacted with them , followed by a briefing on Higher Education in the US by a Senior Student Advisor. Students were curious to know about the exchange program and the availability of courses of their interest and possibility of admission into these. Later Students were taken around and were shown the immense resources available for a member of the American Center. Also slotted into the agenda was a live demonstration of the use of micro bit coding and a 3D printer. Needless to say the students found the trip exciting and an eye-opener with regard to their future plan of study
